Meet the Staff

Keith Callanan, MPT, CSCS
Physical Therapy

Keith received his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University. He also has a B.S. in Exercise Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. Prior to founding Elite Sports and Physical Therapy, Keith was in Indianapolis, Indiana, working as a physical therapist for the Colts as well as the Methodist Sports Medicine Center. Keith is certified as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. He is a member of the APTA and PTPN. Keith has also invented various biomechanical therapeutic devices.

Larry Cibotti, PTA
Physical Therapy

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Maine and an Associate in Science from Newbury College in Physical Therapy Assistant studies, Larry joined Elite Sports in 2003. With several years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, Larry’s expertise in a variety of therapeutic techniques and his personal approach to patient care is unparalleled by any of his peers. In addition, Larry is heavily involved in the sports and fitness programming at Elite Sports, and is also a professional instructor of pitching mechanics at RBI Academy

Jared Sauvé, MSPT
Physical Therapy

Jared earned his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Husson College. He also received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island. Jared’s past sports/orthopedic experience includes working for HealthSouth in both Baltimore MD. and Danvers, MA. He has also spent several years working with the geriatric population as well as athletes of many ages. Jared is a wonderful addition to the physical therapy staff because of his expertise and caring attitude.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Phyllis Heatley, PTA,CSCS
Physical Therapy

 

Phyllis received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports medicine, Exercise Physiology and Fitness Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Boston. She also received her Associate of Science Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Newbury College. She is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a strength and conditioning specialist. Phyllis has many years of experience working in the fitness/health/rehab industry working in and around the Boston area. She has worked as a fitness/personal trainer director in a variety of health clubs with a specialty in developing sports specific training programs and helping the general population achieve their fitness goals. Most recently she has been working with out patient orthopedic clinics treating a variety of patients with orthopedic injuries, specifically rehabilitating athletes.

 

Peter Rappoli, CPT, CCS
Personal Trainer

 

Peter received his associates degree from Ashworth College in Healthcare Management and his bacholer's degree in Health and Fitness from the Optimal Performance Institute/University.Peter holds two career diploma's one in nutrition and another in fitness from Professional Career Development Insitiute. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in nutrition from Huntington College of Health Sciences. He is certified as a personal trainer through ACSM, AFAA, FRA, NCCPT and IFA. Peter is board certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. He is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSPA and is a member of the NSCA. He has over fifteen years experience as a full time personal trainer. In addition to working closely with the training staff of both the Boston Red Sox and the Anaheim Angels, Peter is a consultant to the Trot Nixon Camp and Jim Craig’s Gold Medal Hockey School. Peter has worked as the strength and conditioning coach for Bryant College, Stonehill College and Suffolk University.  He is also the personal trainer for the American League baseball’s MVP.

Meghan Briggs, CPT
Personal Training

Meghan is a certified personal trainer and has been at Elite Sports for the past five years. She has a B.S. in Exercise Science from Springfield College and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine. Meghan currently manages the Wellness and Fitness program run by Pro Health Inc. for Bank of America in downtown Boston. She is a certified spinning and aerobics instructor. Her expertise in the field helps her to motivate her clients to reach their fitness goals. 

 

Bernadette Richards, CPT
Personal Training, Spinning

Bernadette is a graduate of Boston University and is certified as both a personal trainer and spinning instructor.  She obtained her personal training certification from AFAA and spinning certification through Mad Dog Athletics. She joined the staff at Elite in March of 2005. Her wealth of knowledge in the fitness field has helped several clients to reach their fitness goals. The motivation and support that she gives to her clients is invaluable in their journey to success.  She is the mother of five children and works with clients of all ages and fitness levels.
