Keith Callanan, PT, MPT, CSCS
Co-Owner / CEO / Physical Therapist
Keith is co-owner of Elite Health & Fitness Center and co-founder of the nationally recognized Elite Sports Fitness Boot Camp program. Keith has over 16 years experience in the physical therapy and fitness industries. Keith earned his B.S. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, where he was also a collegiate athlete. Injuries sustained from football inspired to pursue his current career as a physical therapist. Keith received a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University. As a physical therapy student, Keith had the opportunity to work at Langley Air Force Base, collaborating with staff to discuss patient issues, as well as preparing rehabilitative exercise machines for patient use. Prior to founding Elite Health & Fitness in 2001, Keith worked as a physical therapist for the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, as well as the Methodist Sports Medicine Center. He also had the unique opportunity to work under renowned knee surgeon, Dr. K.D. Shelbourne. As Director of Physical Therapy at Elite, Keith develops treatment plans while educating patients on its purpose and strategy to anticipate functional outcomes. He specializes in the treatment of the knee and is also the inventor of various biomechanical therapeutic devices used throughout the country today, including the COR-XT Functional Trainer (www.corxt.com). Keith is certified as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA and is a member of the APTA and PTPN. One of Keith’s proudest accomplishments includes running the Boston Marathon.
Peter Rappoli, MS, CCS, CSCS
Co-Owner / Senior Director of Personal Training
Peter is a co-owner of Elite Sports, Inc. and co-founder of the nationally recognized Elite Sports Fitness Boot Camp program. Peter has worked with several of Boston’s most legendary athletes, including American League MVP, Mo Vaughn, and Olympic Gold Medalist, Jim Craig. He has also worked with Major League Baseball All-Stars including a Boston Red Sox MVP. In addition to working closely with the training staff of both the Boston Red Sox and the Anaheim Angels, Peter was the strength and conditioning coach for the Mo Vaughn, Trot Nixon, Nomar Garciaparra and Jason Varitek Baseball Camps, as well as, Jim Craig’s Gold Medal Hockey School. He is currently the strength and conditioning coach for Dustin Pedroia’s Baseball Camp. Peter has worked as the strength and conditioning coach for Bryant University, Stonehill College, and Suffolk University. Peter has over 20 years experience as a full-time personal trainer and holds a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from Huntington College of Health Sciences. He also has an Associate’s degree in Healthcare Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Health & Fitness. In addition, he holds a Career Diploma in both nutrition and fitness from Ashworth College. At Ashworth College, he was awarded the DETC (Distance Education Training Council) Outstanding Graduate of the year award.
Peter is certified as a personal trainer through ACSM, NCSF, AFAA, FRA, NCCPT, and IFA. He is board certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA and NSPA, and a certified TRX instructor. He is also a member of the NSCA and on the advisory board for the National Strength Professionals Association (NSPA).

Ben Godin, PT, DPT, SCS
Chief Operating Officer / Sports Physical Therapist /Performance Coach
Ben joined the Elite team in 2010 after completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Simmons University. He worked as a Physical Therapist at Elite Health & Fitness Center from 2010-2013 prior to becoming the Clinic Director/General Manager of Elite's Foxboro facility, where he worked from 2013 to 2020. In 2020, he moved into a new role as Elite's Chief Operating Officer, in addition to continuing to treat patients and athletes. Prior to PT school, he earned his B.A. from Bates College, a certificate in health counseling from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and worked in business management. Ben has a strong clinical interest in sports injury and orthopedic rehabilitation, injury prevention, and sports performance training. He is a Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, and an active member of the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy. He's also a Certified Champion Performance Specialist, certified in the use of the FMS and SFMA systems, and is a guest lecturer on sports injury rehabilitation at Simmons University. Most important, he is passionate about helping his patients get back to doing what they love to do! In his free time, Ben enjoys cycling and mountain biking, playing ice hockey and guitar, coaching youth soccer, and spending time with his family.
Alexa Giarusso, BS, ACE
Personal Trainer/Member Services Representative
Alexa grew up in a very small town, Barre, Ma. which led her to fall in love with sports at a young age. She was very active as a kid and played several sports in high school, which sparked her interest in fitness and training. While she played softball, ran track, and snowboarded, Alexa's favorite sport was always field hockey. She played for 9 years and played year round during my last 3 years of high school. She was an All-Star and was selected to go to the Shooting Stars field hockey tournament in Virginia during her senior year, as well as helping to lead her high school team to an undefeated regular season. She recently started coaching high school field hockey as well, and once again helped lead her team to an undefeated season in 2021! She continues to play field hockey in adult leagues as well. Alexa has always had a passion for working out and staying active, and her love for training in high school led her to becoming a certified personal trainer. She is very excited to help people of all ages and abilities improve their overall fitness and achieve their goals! Fun fact: She once met Shaq while I was working out!
Annette Williams, AFFA
Annette Williams joined Elite in 2020 as a Personal Trainer, and has an impressive fitness resume including competing in powerlifting competitions, and won the World Championships in 1991 and 1992 with the WDFPF. She held the bench press world record of 90kg 198lbs). Her deadlift was a European record of 157.5kg 346.5lbs). She discovered the gym in college, and enjoyed how when working out, the only person to beat was herself. Annette finds working out empowering both physically and mentally, and hopes to give the gift of strength and fitness to her clients.
Robert "Bob" Rowe, PT
Clinical Manager - Stoughton Physical Therapy
Bob received his PT degree from the University of New England and brings over 25+ years of experience in outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy to his role as Clinic Manager here at Elite. Bob has extensive experience treating a wide variety of patients and orthopedic/sports injuries and surgeries, from total joint replacements to ACL reconstructions to rotator cuff repairs, and everything in between. A former collegiate soccer player, Bob has played soccer for most of his life and continues to share his passion for the 'beautiful game' by coaching for a local club team. He also has a special interest in treating injured athletes of all ages and helping them recover quickly and safely to return to the activities they enjoy. With his keen sense of humor and focus on improving his patients' function and performance, Bob brings a wealth of clinical expertise and experience to the PT team at Elite. In his free time, Bob enjoys coaching soccer and spending time with his family.
Personal Trainer/Group Exercise Instructor
Carolina has been with Elite Health & Fitness for 11 years as both a Personal Trainer and as a Group Exercise Instructor. It wasn't until she became certified as a Personal Trainer through NSPA that she realized her true passion: to help others succeed in their fitness goals. Carolina was inspired by her own mother's physical rehabilitation needs. She is continuously reading and taking classes to help her keep up with the latest fitness trends, and she really enjoys working both with individuals and group training. Carolina is a great motivator and looks forward to the everyday excitement and challenge of helping her clients to be healthier, happier, and stronger.
Colleen Watson, BS, ACSM
Colleen attended Bridgewater State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Physiology and a minor in Physical Education and Health Science. An avid athlete, Colleen played many sports, including field hockey, winter track, and spring track. She played field hockey for two years while at Bridgewater State, and later coached at Milton Academy, where her freshman girls team went undefeated. In high school, Colleen set 9 school records in track for the 400m, 500m, 600m, hurdles, and relays. In addition, Colleen participated on an Irish step dancing team for 10 years, and her team won the world championship in Ireland. Colleen's interest in fitness began at a young age and has since developed into a career personal training, of which she has 10 years experience. Her goal is to prevent people, like herself, from getting injured, and she loves working with clients of all fitness levels - educating them along the way on how to safely progress in their programs. Colleen is certified in a variety of programs, included pre/post natal certified, TRX, Kettlebell, and Assisted Stretching.
Danny Ramsey, BS, CSCS
Sports Performance Coach / Personal Trainer
Danny earned his BS in Exercise Science from Westfield State University in 2019 and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Danny also has experience as a rehabilitation technician where he worked with a wide range of patients. He is from Easthampton, MA where he grew up playing many team sports, including: AAU basketball and high school football. Danny found a passion for sports performance through transformation of his own athleticism. With doing so he found his love to apply this knowledge to all different types of athletes and clients. Outside of work Danny continues to stay active through his own sports training, participates in basketball leagues, and enjoys watching sporting events.
Emily Boehm, PT, DPT, CSCS
Physical Therapist - Stoughton
Emily joined the Elite Physical Therapy team in 2021 after completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Emily also has a BS in Exercise Science from SUNY Brockport and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Emily is from Rochester, NY where she grew up playing a variety of sports including soccer, track & field, and alpine ski racing. She also was a four-year member of SUNY Brockport’s Women’s Soccer team. Emily has also coached Girls Travel U15 & U17 soccer in her home town and continues to play soccer. Emily is passionate about physical therapy and enjoys treating patients with a variety of orthopedic and sports injuries. Outside of work, Emily enjoys working out and staying active, playing soccer, spending time with friends and family and exploring new places.
Erik Rossi, BS, CSCS
Personal Trainer - Stoughton
Erik was born and raised in Easton, MA and graduated from Oliver Ames HS where he played football and was a captain for track and field. He attended University of Connecticut and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. While at UConn, Erik was an ad-hoc intern Strength & Conditioning Coach for multiple D1 athletic programs for two semesters. His main interest is helping people get better and achieve their health & fitness goals. He eventually would like to return to school and earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree and become a licensed physical therapist.
Erin Egan, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist - Stoughton
Erin joined the Elite team in 2021 after graduating with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Daemen College. Erin also earned her B.A. in Natural Science from Daemen College, where she was also a member of the Women's Basketball and Soccer teams. During her clinical rotations, she had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and found a love for orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. Erin enjoys coaching youth basketball and served as the JV coach at her high school while in graduate school. In her free time, she also enjoys running, spending time with friends, and watching sports.

Jessica Cesario, OT/L, CHT
Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Specialist - Stoughton
Jessica graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1996 where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She participated in advanced professional study of Hand and Upper Extremity Rehabilitation at Tufts University and became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2010. She has been practicing for 24 years, specializing in rehabilitation of the elbow, wrist and hand for the last 13 years. Jessica joined the Elite therapy team in 2013. She is experienced in custom splinting and treating various upper extremity conditions including fractures, sprains and strains, arthritis, tendonitis, tendon and nerve repairs, and work and sports related injuries. Jessica grew up in Rochester, NY and was a high school athlete, playing soccer and running track. She moved to the Boston area in 1999. She enjoys cooking, running and spending time outdoors with her family and dog.
Kaitlyn McDonald, PT, DPT, ATC, LAT
Physical Therapist - Stoughton
Kaitlyn received her B.S. in Athletic Training (2017) and her doctorate in Physical Therapy (2020) from the University of Evansville, home of the Purple Aces. She is certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment and the Functional Movement Screen and is passionate about returning athletes and patients of all ages back to the activities they love! She is currently studying to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. Kaitlyn grew up in Wisconsin where she participated in several sports including swimming, basketball, and softball. Outside of work she enjoys walking her dog, camping, and hiking.
Lauren Harding, M. Ed.
General Manager - Health & Fitness Center
Lauren joined Elite in 2019 as General Manager, and has professional experience in corporate wellness, nutrition counseling, food service management, and group exercise as a Zumba instructor. Lauren graduated from Framingham State University with a Master's of Education in Nutrition Education, and graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition Dietetics and minor in Psychology. She danced recreationally and competitively for a combined total of 20 years, and played basketball, soccer, and softball in high school. When she is not at work, Lauren enjoys skiing, reading, cooking, walking her dog Nike, and spending time with her family.
Personal Trainer/Group Exercise Instructor
Maureen is a student of Pilates (the lengthening and strengthening of muscles) for over 10 years. She includes stretching to increase flexibility as a fundamental aspect of every workout. One of Maureen's principle foundations of training is strengthening her client's "powerhouse" (hips, lower back, abdominals, and buttocks). Maureen's goal is to help clients achieve results as well as share her passion for healthy living.
Mckenzie Miller, BS
Manager of Office Administration - Physical Therapy
Mckenzie was one of the first team members here at Elite Sports & PT in Foxboro, joining us in September 2013. She received her BS in Health & Exercise Science from Syracuse University in December 2010. Mckenzie continues to show her passion for the Orangemen by playing both co-ed intramural basketball and volleyball and coaching multiple AAU basketball teams. When she’s not busy at Elite, she can be found scouring the streets searching for the best donut, training for her next road race, hiking or participating in hot yoga boot camps. She has several years of experience as a Personal Trainer and Physical Therapy Aide and plans on continuing her education in the health & fitness field by obtaining her CSCS certification.
Phyllis Heatley, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant - Stoughton
Phyllis Joined the Elite team in 2006. She completed her BS degree in Sports Medicine, Exercise Science and Fitness Administration from UMass Boston in 1990. She worked in the Fitness Industry for many years as a Fitness Director and Personal Trainer. She attended Northeastern University in 1992 and
took 6 classes at the masters level in Clinical Exercise Physiology. In 1997, she graduated from Newbury College and obtained her Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She has been certified as a Health/Fitness instructor with the American College of Sports Medicine and was certified with the
National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She has worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant for the past 19 years in outpatient orthopedic clinics treating patients with a variety of injuries. Phyllis enjoys working with a variety of patients, including post-operative patients and those with sports injuries. She works hard to keep her patients motivated for the best possible outcome, improving their quality of life and helping them get back to the activities they enjoy. Phyllis enjoys working out and has a strong passion for running and strength training. She has completed 5 Boston Marathons with the most recent in 2019, runs many road races each year, and has completed 3 triathlons. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, attending her son's sporting events, and watching football.
Shanice Milord, BS, CPT
Patient Care Coordinator / Personal Trainer
Shanice joined the Elite team in September 2020 as a Patient Care Coordinator in our Physical Therapy Department. She graduated from UMass Boston in May 2019 with her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Health Sciences and recently became a Certified Personal Trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. When she's not working at Elite, Shanice works as a Rehabilitation Aide treating children with neurological disabilities and her future goal is to one day become a Physical Therapist specializing in pediatrics. Shanice loves to work out to feel stronger and healthier. She is ecstatic to share her passion for fitness with clients by helping them feel good, both mentally and physically.
Samantha "Sam" Cella, BS, CPT, ATC, LAT
Patient Care Coordinator/Sports Performance Coach
Sam joined the Elite Team in March 2021 as a Patient Care Coordinator in our Physical Therapy Department and more recently began working as a Sports Performance Coach. In 2020, Sam graduated from the University of New England with her BS in Athletic Training and then became a Licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer following graduation. Sam is also a Certified Personal Trainer by the National Strength & Conditioning Association. Sam loves fitness and athletics because she grew up being an avid softball player and martial artist - she even earned her black belt in Kenpo karate in 2017! She continues her love for athletics by working at a local high school as an Athletic Trainer and umpiring softball games in her free time. Sam has experience in acute rehabilitation of sports injuries and strength and conditioning from her college studies and clinical rotations as well as her current job as an Athletic Trainer. When Sam is not working one of her many jobs, she is spending time with friends and family, working out, or adventuring outdoors.
Meredith Rogazzo, PT, DPT, CPT-ACSM, Cert-APHPT
Clinic Director / General Manager - Foxboro
Meredith joined the Elite team in early 2018, where she worked as a staff physical therapist for over 2 years before being promoted to Clinic Director/General Manager in 2020. She graduated from Northeastern University with her undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences with a minor in Exercise Science. She then continued on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a concentration in Sports, Strength and Conditioning in 2016. More recently she obtained her certification through the Academy of Prevention & Health Promotion Therapies. She has a background in many different clinical settings, from acute care to sports performance. Her area of expertise is in treating a variety of injuries, including sports and orthopedic injuries and concussion. Meredith treats with an eclectic style of therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education and manual techniques. She emphasizes biomechanics and functional strength for all her patients to help them get back to performing at their highest level. Meredith grew up in Mansfield, MA where she played field hockey, ice hockey and track. Meredith went on to play club field hockey at Northeastern and continues to coach field hockey as the assistant coach for Mansfield High School. She is also an avid runner who has completed several marathons, most recently the 2018 Boston Marathon. Meredith is also currently pursuing her certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the NSCA.
Jane Hatzikonstantis, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist - Foxboro
Jane received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 2019 and graduated with a concentration in sports physical therapy. She received her B.S. in Exercise Physiology at UMass Lowell, where she played Division 1 women’s soccer. Since graduating from PT school, Jane's been working in the outpatient orthopedic/sports PT setting where she has treated a variety of patients, including sports injuries, neck and low back pain and post-operative patients. She is Level I certified in dry needling and has extensive experience in strength and conditioning. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, working out, playing soccer and hiking.
Katie McCarthy, BS, CSCS
Manager of Sports Performance - Foxboro
Katie originally joined the Elite team as an intern in the summer of 2015 and was hired as Sports Performance Coach at Elite in 2016. Katie earned her BS in Exercise Science at Colby-Sawyer College and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She was promoted to Manager of Sports Performance at Elite’s Foxboro facility, where she trains both athletes and adult clients. Katie played both soccer and basketball at Mansfield High School and was a four-year member of Colby-Sawyer’s Women’s Basketball team. She continues her love for the game through coaching both basketball and soccer at all age levels. Katie is passionate about sports performance and helping her training clients reach their full potential.
James Cuneo, BS, CPT
Sports Performance Coach
James originally joined Elite's Foxboro team as an intern in Fall 2021 and was hired as a Sports Performance Coach in January following his internship. He recently earned his BS in Physical Education/Exercise Science from Bridgewater State University. James received his personal training certificate through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and has been training clients for over 2 years. He grew up in Norton, MA, and enjoys training and competing in powerlifting, as well as flag football. These interests led him to find a love for movement optimization, pushing himself and others to be the best they can be. He has worked with teens and athletes for several years in different camps and gyms, putting his skills to use facilitating exercise, designing programs, and helping athletes with their technique and form.
Sports Performance Intern
Camryn is currently a senior who will be graduating in 2022 from Framingham State University with her degree in Health and Wellness with a concentration in fitness and a minor in Biology. She played soccer, basketball and track at Leicester High School and continued her soccer career for four years at the University. In 2021, she continued her passion for the game of soccer by coaching a 2012 New England Surf team. She has always had a love for sports and hopes to continue helping athletes reach their goals. Training athletes and pushing them to their fullest potential is something that she enjoys and hopes to continue doing. "Interning with Elite has given me the opportunity to expand my knowledge and become closer with new techniques and abilities outside of the classroom" Apart from sports, Camryn enjoys travelling and spending time with friends and family.
