Keith Callanan, PT, MPT, CSCS
Co-Owner / CEO / Physical Therapist
Keith is co-owner of Elite Health & Fitness Center and co-founder of the nationally recognized Elite Sports Fitness Boot Camp program. Keith has over 16 years experience in the physical therapy and fitness industries. Keith earned his B.S. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, where he was also a collegiate athlete. Injuries sustained from football inspired to pursue his current career as a physical therapist. Keith received a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University. As a physical therapy student, Keith had the opportunity to work at Langley Air Force Base, collaborating with staff to discuss patient issues, as well as preparing rehabilitative exercise machines for patient use. Prior to founding Elite Health & Fitness in 2001, Keith worked as a physical therapist for the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, as well as the Methodist Sports Medicine Center. He also had the unique opportunity to work under renowned knee surgeon, Dr. K.D. Shelbourne. As Director of Physical Therapy at Elite, Keith develops treatment plans while educating patients on its purpose and strategy to anticipate functional outcomes. He specializes in the treatment of the knee and is also the inventor of various biomechanical therapeutic devices used throughout the country today, including the COR-XT Functional Trainer (www.corxt.com). Keith is certified as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA and is a member of the APTA and PTPN. One of Keith’s proudest accomplishments includes running the Boston Marathon.

Peter Rappoli, MS, CCS, CSCS
Co-Owner / Senior Director of Personal Training
Peter is a co-owner of Elite Sports, Inc. and co-founder of the nationally recognized Elite Sports Fitness Boot Camp program. Peter has worked with several of Boston’s most legendary athletes, including American League MVP, Mo Vaughn, and Olympic Gold Medalist, Jim Craig. He has also worked with Major League Baseball All-Stars including a Boston Red Sox MVP. In addition to working closely with the training staff of both the Boston Red Sox and the Anaheim Angels, Peter was the strength and conditioning coach for the Mo Vaughn, Trot Nixon, Nomar Garciaparra and Jason Varitek Baseball Camps, as well as, Jim Craig’s Gold Medal Hockey School. He is currently the strength and conditioning coach for Dustin Pedroia’s Baseball Camp. Peter has worked as the strength and conditioning coach for Bryant University, Stonehill College, and Suffolk University. Peter has over 20 years experience as a full-time personal trainer and holds a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from Huntington College of Health Sciences. He also has an Associate’s degree in Healthcare Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Health & Fitness. In addition, he holds a Career Diploma in both nutrition and fitness from Ashworth College. At Ashworth College, he was awarded the DETC (Distance Education Training Council) Outstanding Graduate of the year award.
Peter is certified as a personal trainer through ACSM, NCSF, AFAA, FRA, NCCPT, and IFA. He is board certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA and NSPA, and a certified TRX instructor. He is also a member of the NSCA and on the advisory board for the National Strength Professionals Association (NSPA).

Ben Godin, PT, DPT, SCS
Chief Operating Officer / General Manager - Foxboro
Ben joined the Elite team in 2010 after completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Simmons University. He worked as a Physical Therapist at Elite Health & Fitness Center from 2010-2013 prior to becoming the Clinic Director/General Manager of Elite's Foxboro facility, where he worked from 2013 to 2020. In 2020, he moved into a new role as Elite's Chief Operating Officer, in addition to continuing to treat patients and train athletes. Prior to PT school, he earned his B.A. from Bates College, a certificate in health counseling from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and worked in business management. Ben has a strong clinical interest in sports injury and orthopedic rehabilitation, injury prevention, and sports performance training. He is a Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, and an active member of the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy. He's also a Certified Champion Performance Specialist, certified in the use of the FMS and SFMA systems, and is a guest lecturer on sports injury rehabilitation at Simmons University. Most important, he is passionate about helping his patients get back to doing what they love to do! In his free time, Ben enjoys cycling and mountain biking, playing ice hockey and guitar, coaching youth soccer, and spending time with his family.

Annette Williams, AFFA
Personal Trainer
Annette Williams joined Elite in 2020 as a Personal Trainer, and has an impressive fitness resume including competing in powerlifting competitions, and won the World Championships in 1991 and 1992 with the WDFPF. She held the bench press world record of 90kg 198lbs). Her deadlift was a European record of 157.5kg 346.5lbs). She discovered the gym in college, and enjoyed how when working out, the only person to beat was herself. Annette finds working out empowering both physically and mentally, and hopes to give the gift of strength and fitness to her clients.

Robert "Bob" Rowe, PT
Clinical Manager - Stoughton Physical Therapy
Bob received his PT degree from the University of New England and brings over 25+ years of experience in outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy to his role as Clinic Manager here at Elite. Bob has extensive experience treating a wide variety of patients and orthopedic/sports injuries and surgeries, from total joint replacements to ACL reconstructions to rotator cuff repairs, and everything in between. A former collegiate soccer player, Bob has played soccer for most of his life and continues to share his passion for the 'beautiful game' by coaching for a local club team. He also has a special interest in treating injured athletes of all ages and helping them recover quickly and safely to return to the activities they enjoy. With his keen sense of humor and focus on improving his patients' function and performance, Bob brings a wealth of clinical expertise and experience to the PT team at Elite. In his free time, Bob enjoys coaching soccer and spending time with his family.

Carolina Pokraka
Personal Trainer/Group Exercise Instructor
Carolina has been with Elite Health & Fitness for 13 years as both a Personal Trainer and as a Group Exercise Instructor. It wasn't until she became certified as a Personal Trainer through NSPA that she realized her true passion: to help others succeed in their fitness goals. Carolina was inspired by her own mother's physical rehabilitation needs. She is continuously reading and taking classes to help her keep up with the latest fitness trends, and she really enjoys working both with individuals and group training. Carolina is a great motivator and looks forward to the everyday excitement and challenge of helping her clients to be healthier, happier, and stronger.

Emily Boehm, PT, DPT, CSCS
Physical Therapist/Personal Trainer - Stoughton
Emily joined the Elite Physical Therapy team in 2021 after completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Emily also has a BS in Exercise Science from SUNY Brockport and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Emily is from Rochester, NY where she grew up playing a variety of sports including soccer, track & field, and alpine ski racing. She also was a four-year member of SUNY Brockport’s Women’s Soccer team. Emily has also coached Girls Travel U15 & U17 soccer in her home town and continues to play soccer. Emily is passionate about physical therapy and enjoys treating patients with a variety of orthopedic and sports injuries. Outside of work, Emily enjoys working out and staying active, playing soccer, spending time with friends and family and exploring new places.

Emily Josephson, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist/Personal Trainer - Stoughton
Emily joined the Elite PT team in 2022 after graduating from Simmons University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science (2020), also at Simmons University, where she ran cross-country. She enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds with their recovery and helping them get back to doing what they love! Emily is originally from Rochester, MA, where she grew up playing soccer and running both track and cross-country in warmer weather and enjoying downhill and cross-country skiing in the colder months.

Erik Rossi, BS, CSCS
Personal Trainer
Erik was born and raised in Easton, MA and graduated from Oliver Ames HS where he played football and was a captain for track and field. He attended University of Connecticut and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. While at UConn, Erik was an ad-hoc intern Strength & Conditioning Coach for multiple D1 athletic programs for two semesters. His main interest is helping people get better and achieve their health & fitness goals. He eventually would like to return to school and earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree and become a licensed physical therapist.

Kaitlyn McDonald, PT, DPT, ATC, LAT
Physical Therapist - Stoughton
Kaitlyn received her B.S. in Athletic Training (2017) and her doctorate in Physical Therapy (2020) from the University of Evansville, home of the Purple Aces. She is certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment and the Functional Movement Screen and is passionate about returning athletes and patients of all ages back to the activities they love! She is currently studying to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. Kaitlyn grew up in Wisconsin where she participated in several sports including swimming, basketball, and softball. Outside of work she enjoys walking her dog, camping, and hiking.

Maureen Toscano
Personal Trainer/Group Exercise Instructor
Maureen is a student of Pilates (the lengthening and strengthening of muscles) for over 10 years. She includes stretching to increase flexibility as a fundamental aspect of every workout. One of Maureen's principle foundations of training is strengthening her client's "powerhouse" (hips, lower back, abdominals, and buttocks). Maureen's goal is to help clients achieve results as well as share her passion for healthy living.

Nelson Justa, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Physical Therapist - Stoughton
Nelson joined the Elite team in 2022. Upon earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the
University of Rhode Island (URI) in 2021, Nelson pursued a 12-month orthopedic residency
program through Evidence in Motion to specialize in orthopedics and is a Board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Prior to grad school, he obtained his B.S. in Kinesiology from URI and became certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. Nelson’s clinical interests include rehabilitation of sports and orthopedic injuries, sports performance training, and optimizing general fitness. He is passionate about
helping people of all ages get back to doing what they love and exploring their true potential.
Originally from Rhode Island, Nelson enjoys spending time at the beach, being active outdoors,
and catching up with friends and family.

Phyllis Heatley, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant - Stoughton
Phyllis Joined the Elite team in 2006. She completed her BS degree in Sports Medicine, Exercise Science and Fitness Administration from UMass Boston in 1990. She worked in the Fitness Industry for many years as a Fitness Director and Personal Trainer. She attended Northeastern University in 1992 and
took 6 classes at the masters level in Clinical Exercise Physiology. In 1997, she graduated from Newbury College and obtained her Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She has been certified as a Health/Fitness instructor with the American College of Sports Medicine and was certified with the
National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She has worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant for the past 19 years in outpatient orthopedic clinics treating patients with a variety of injuries. Phyllis enjoys working with a variety of patients, including post-operative patients and those with sports injuries. She works hard to keep her patients motivated for the best possible outcome, improving their quality of life and helping them get back to the activities they enjoy. Phyllis enjoys working out and has a strong passion for running and strength training. She has completed 5 Boston Marathons with the most recent in 2019, runs many road races each year, and has completed 3 triathlons. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, attending her son's sporting events, and watching football.

William "Bill" Jalbert, CPT
Personal Trainer/Sports Performance Coach
Bill joined Elite in December 2022 as a Sports Performance Coach, Personal Trainer, and Member Service specialist. He is a graduate of the American Academy of Personal Training and holds a NASM CPT certification with a Performance Enhancement Specialization, and has over 10 years experience in personal training. Bill's special interests in fitness include boxing, functional training, weight loss, sports performance, and kettlebells. He works in fitness because he enjoys seeing people reach their fullest potentials and to see them make strides towards their individual goals.

Jane Hatzikonstantis, PT, DPT, SCS
Physical Therapist - Foxboro
Jane received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 2019 and graduated with a concentration in sports physical therapy. She received her B.S. in Exercise Physiology at UMass Lowell, where she played Division 1 women’s soccer. Since graduating from PT school, Jane's been working in the outpatient orthopedic/sports PT setting where she has treated a variety of patients and conditions, including sports injuries, neck and low back pain and post-operative patients. She is a board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. In addition, Jane is Level I certified in dry needling and has extensive experience in strength and conditioning. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, working out, playing soccer and hiking.

Katie McCarthy, BS, CSCS
Manager of Sports Performance - Foxboro
Katie originally joined the Elite team as an intern in the summer of 2015 and was hired as Sports Performance Coach at Elite in 2016. Katie earned her BS in Exercise Science at Colby-Sawyer College and is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She was promoted to Manager of Sports Performance at Elite’s Foxboro facility, where she trains both athletes and adult clients. Katie played both soccer and basketball at Mansfield High School and was a four-year member of Colby-Sawyer’s Women’s Basketball team. She continues her love for the game through coaching both basketball and soccer at all age levels. Katie is passionate about sports performance and helping her training clients reach their full potential.

James Cuneo, BS, CPT
Sports Performance Coach
James originally joined Elite's Foxboro team as an intern in Fall 2021 and was hired as a Sports Performance Coach in January following his internship. He recently earned his BS in Physical Education/Exercise Science from Bridgewater State University. James received his personal training certificate through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and has been training clients for over 2 years. He grew up in Norton, MA, and enjoys training and competing in powerlifting, as well as flag football. These interests led him to find a love for movement optimization, pushing himself and others to be the best they can be. He has worked with teens and athletes for several years in different camps and gyms, putting his skills to use facilitating exercise, designing programs, and helping athletes with their technique and form.
