Emma Glaser, 18, hails from Norfolk, MA and plays basketball and soccer for the King Philip Regional High School Warriors. She also plays basketball for the Bay State Jaguars AAU Program. Emma started training at Elite Sports Performance & Physical Therapy in Foxboro in the summer of 2019 and has seen huge improvements in her abilities on the court and field!

Emma is currently playing soccer this fall for the Warriors; however, she still manages to train at Elite 3 days a week to prepare for basketball season! Emma is a 4 year varsity basketball player and was named captain for the ’20-’21 season. Emma also was awarded the Hockomock Coaches Award for her stellar junior season. King Philip Girls Basketball Coach, Dan Nagle, had this to say about coaching Emma: “Emma is a coach’s dream in every sense of the phrase. She is the ‘never take a play off’ kid that most coaches can only hope to one day have. I have never been around a player who consistently gives her entire self to the team in every game and practice. I am beyond fortunate to coach her.”

Since she started training at Elite, Emma has seen steady improvements in her strength, speed, and quickness on the court. She feels more confident than ever before because she knows how much she can handle and continues to push herself to improve every day. She is a dedicated, hardworking, and relentless athlete who encompasses everything athletes at Elite stand for and strive to be! Emma is an incredible role model for younger athletes and has some great advice for them:  “Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, support your teammates, and always remember to have fun!”

When asked what defines a true athlete, Emma said: “A true athlete is someone who puts in the work on their own time and is someone who is constantly pushing themselves and their teammates to get better. They should lead by example.” Emma certainly demonstrates many of these qualities and consistently demonstrates the incredible work ethic and desire to improve that has made her so successful on and off the court.

After high school, Emma plans to study Exercise Science in college and eventually pursue her master’s degree in Athletic Training. Emma also hopes to continue her basketball career at the collegiate level. Based on what we’ve seen from Emma here at Elite, we can confidently say that any college coach would be lucky to have her! Elite is excited to honor Emma Glaser as our Elite Athlete of the Month for November 2020! Congratulations, Emma, and keep getting after it! We know big things are coming your way!

“I have been training at Elite for just over a year now and I can say that it has really changed my life for the better. Every single worker there wants to see you become the best you can. The atmosphere is just so supportive and uplifting it pushes you to be the best version of yourself. The training is personalized to you and your sport if you have one. This aspect has helped me improve my game immensely. My experience here has helped me build confidence not only in my game but in my daily life. I can say that deciding to train at Elite is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.” -Emma Glaser, September 2020
