September is HERE. It is a time of transitions and new beginnings. It can be a crazy time – and for many of us even more so than January 1st. We notice the days are getting shorter, cooler weather is on its way, schools have started, summer vacations have ended (say it isn’t so!). Traffic is getting worse and we are all trying to get back into the swing of things. Maybe it is time to get your body back on track? Have those summer barbecues and weekend marquitas caught up with you yet? Elite has many ways it can help – and in many ways we bet you didn’t even know about.

Yes, we are expanding! Nope, it is not a rumor. We are expanding the second floor. Details are coming, so stay tuned. We are adding 4500 square footage upstairs. No dates for construction have been set in stone – YET, but we will keep you posted. There are lots of new and exciting things that are coming your way here at Elite in Stoughton.

We offer Outdoor Bootcamp! AND Team Training!

A 4 week Bootcamp program that meets 6 am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s. Our latest session ends on October 14th. We do however offer Indoor Bootcamp (otherwise known as HIT 60) year-round. Check here.

What is Team Training? Well, we use toys! Such as Kettlebells, battle ropes, Jump Ropes, Rowers, Stairs, Sleds, your own body weight and more. What can our team training do for you and your body? Besides, lose weight? Get stronger? And sleep better?! Check here.

On top of getting you into shape, our Bootcamps and Team Trainings are meant to be fun! Many of our members have become friends in and out of the gym.

Our fall Group Exercise Schedule is here and that we have classes starting as early at 5am. That’s right. 5 AM for you early birds! NO EXCUSES. Jane teaches a Total Body Strength Training Class on Tues and Thurs mornings. She will have you using dumbbells and your own bodyweight to give you a full-body workout – and it is great for all levels. We have a ton of other classes offered, and you can find out more here.

We offer CLUB Cycle! Why Club Cycle? So you can get WAY more out of your riding experience with Keiser bikes, Power Cycle, Performance IQ, specialized lighting, two large HDTV displays which allow you to compete against your neighbors and yourself, and more. Cycling classes are quite popular these days and for good reason. They are one hell of a cardio workout. Talk about getting sweaty! Check here.

Our trainer Pam teaches Easy Fit 3 times a week. Are you looking for lower intensity aerobic workout? Then join Pam on Mon, Wed and Fri’s from 11-11:55 am. It is also a great class and at a perfect time for our retirees looking for a lower impact routine. Check here.

The proper way to perform a push-up? It is NOT with your elbows flaring out! If that is not the correct way, then why do so many people perform the exercise incorrectly? For one, it is easier. Two, it often makes for a prettier picture, so blame the media. But alas, it is not a correct form. One of our personal trainers can teach you proper form on push-ups and so much more.

You’ve probably seen Jay – he’s that bald guy walking around with that smirk on his face? But don’t let that fool you. He is in unbelievable shape, not nearly as scary as he looks (sorry Jay), super fun and knows his stuff. Check here.

We offer Fit Kids! Tired of your kids playing video games or using their electronics? Anyone else feels like throwing their kids electronics out the window somedays!? Fit Kids is geared towards kids ages 6 – 10 looking to have fun, get fit and move better all year long. It focuses on body awareness, speed training, agility drills, plyometric training, flexibility and core and balance skills. Classes are offered every evening Mon – Thurs. Check here.
